Farewells can be hard. You know what can be harder. Leaving the place that you absolutely love so much. It’s time for me to shift to a new place. Not a new office though but the environment and work culture is definitely different. I don’t have a choice now that it is my decision . I know I will survive.
Right now packing makes me realize I do really have loads of clothes. There is a reason Why I Was Banned From Shopping Anymore👗🚫(Should have listened to my parents). Talking of whom I will miss being pampered so much. I am definitely not looking forward to this weekend as I will be travelling this Sunday. So I do plan to devote my whole time to my family and friends tomorrow because God knows when I will be back again.
Coming back to packing my bags. The one thing I hate about travelling is that I have to PACK!!! I so wish somehow magically my stuffs could get packed. Though my mom does help me(A LOT) in packing(Even now). My sister gets super jealous because she had to do her own packing(since always). You see, I get the perks of being the younger one. Finally!
There is too much work to done. Definitely doesn’t feel like a Friday. On top of it I have to say goodbye to my colleagues. Damn hard. I have such a great bond with them right now which I am definitely going to miss in my new place. They have been like a small family to me with whom I could gossip (you know about Bosses and all :P). This place has given me so much. Best friends to be precise. ♥ Anyways I am not going to be sad (At least not show it). I am good at hiding my feelings. At least I think so. I have been multitasking in office. I didn’t get time to apply nail polish and my fingers pleaded me. I am bad at saying No. So yes, while my report refreshed itself I applied a layer of nail polish. Cool right? My toe nails feel left out though. Should I really go that low to apply the nail polish? Such tough decisions you have got to make in life. err well in office. What? You think I have no work? What made you think so. 😛
Do you believe in multitasking as well? Do you have such amazing colleagues and friends too with whom you can gossip anything and everything? And what about packing? I guess if it’s for few days then it is fine but what if you’re going to be gone for a long time and you know you have to take all your clothes and shoes and what not. Then? Let me accept the fact that I am a terrible packer. (Certified by mom as usual). Let me know what are you? Do you just stuff your things in the trolley or are you a well maintained person who believes in organizing stuffs properly.
PS: I think I am going to have 5-6 trolleys(The numbers might change by Sunday though). I am so dead!!!

Wow, I didn’t know you liked the clothes that much! The truth is… I don’t like shopping. Most of all because I am like SUPER skinny and al the clothes I like don’t suit me :(. And also because I never find what I want. And also… because I’m lazy XD, but I understand you! Good luck!

I am lazy but never lazy for shopping. If I feel lazy to go to a shop, I go for online shopping. But there is always an option 😂

I to have way to many clothes. I sorted all my clothes out before I left home, felt great to be organised however it didn’t last long soon back at the shops & charity shops finding more… now my wardrobe is over flowing again 😂 I think clothes make me feel good hence my problem. I will learn… one day 😛

I don’t know when we are going to learn though. I can keep giving my clothes away yet somehow my wardrobe keeps overflowing. Now that I have to take them with me I am getting a headache. 🤦phew

Had to leave home when I was about to start school. What I did was that I only picked the best clothes out of many, and packing became easier.
I know some people won’t like that idea.

That’s a nice idea. Just that I love all my clothes that it gets hard which one to choose and then I end up taking most of them ☺️

I truly understand what you’re going through, because I need to do some packing myself.
I moved out to go to college before, and it wasn’t half bad, because I could still keep a lot of things at home. Now I have my own place and need to move it ALL. It’s a pain, and I’m not very good at packing things other than my clothes (I used to travel, so got used to that). I wish you luck!

I know going to college wasn’t a big deal because you would be getting holidays frequently. It’s such a task right now. Thank you for your wishes. I wish you all the luck too. ☺️

In the past 3 years I had to shift 3 times within India and then to move to UK. I packed and unpacked and repacked my luggage almost 10 times a day before my flight. Lol.. And in the end realized I had shopped way too much than I could carry on the flight. And talking about shifting within India, by the end of 10 years of medical education I had managed to accumulate 10 suitcases and 4 boxes full of books, which right now I do not seem to remember where all of it disappeared. So yes, I hate packing but love travelling.

That’s a lot of shifting. A lot of packing. And a lot of unpacking. You survived it all😀 The only thing even I love is lots and lots of traveling 😀
