You must have seen dogs barking and running towards a car. Right? How do you feel being chased around by them? I am pretty sure not everybody is a dog lover here and if you aren’t one of them then I assume it must give you a heart attack plus a few glares from those who are dog lovers( like me) because who doesn’t love dogs? (Trying not to be judgmental.)
I am an absolute dog lover and I love to read a dogs mind. In fact, so much that I wanted to have a dog shelter and help all the street dogs since my childhood days. The plan is still on, just that I don’t know where to start from. I had always been fascinated by my dog and I would notice her activities very carefully (so much that I instilled some of her habits in me.) Hey! That’s all right. I am a normal human being with my heart filled with lots of love for dogs in general. I can’t help being biased towards them. I am serious. As wrong as it may sound, I may choose a dog over a human and while I say that, it doesn’t make me sound very good. Does it? I hope we can still be friends. If you have dogs, chances are we already are good friends. 😉
Flashback: As a child whenever my parents told me we had to go visit their friend’s house, my question would be “Do they have dogs”? If they answered yes, I would be happy to go knowing well enough that my day was sorted but if they answered no, I knew there was nothing I had to look forward to even if they had kids my age. Weird right? Not that my love for dogs ever came in between me making new friends. I could and can still instantly gel up with “Humans” but I agree I love those more who love dogs and preferably have one too. Do you have one?
Jokes apart, there are tons of things which I learned from my dog and I can easily make out what’s going on in their mind. You can read all about it in my dog blog where everything is written from my dogs point of view. I guess you will like it. For a dog lover, it isn’t that hard to study their behavior but the only thing that I really don’t get is why they bark and run after a car? Do they want to drive the car? Or are they just bored and want to have some fun?
Imagine: It’s a silent lane. You’re driving casually and suddenly you see a bunch of dogs barking and running towards you quite ferociously. The dogs don’t know you’re a dog lover inside. What do you do then? I usually can’t help but bark along. I know! I know! That’s a weird confession but when a dog barks, I feel the need to bark too. Oh god! Tell me it happens to you too. In my defense, I just like giving them company. That’s my approach and I have no intention to stop being me. What do you do? Anyways, back to the topic. My take on this is the below two situations. Don’t forget to read the captions along.
1. The dog wants to drive.
2. The dogs want to hop on board and explore some touristy shits together. What say?
My logic sometimes crackles me up but that’s how my mind works. I have had some sleepless nights joining the dots but I cannot come up with better logic and I really want to know what’s going on in a dogs mind when a car passes by. Why do they bark and run towards it? If you have the answer, I would love to know. If you have any weird logic, I would love to know that too. In fact, weirder the better.
PS: Am I the only one who barks along with a dog? I hope not. 😉
To all the Barking dogs out there,
I Heart You All ❤
