If you remember (or not) last year, after delirious search I finally found THE house to live in. You can read all about it in : When I Proposed And The House Said Yes !!! To be honest, it wasn’t an easy task to get the rented house of my choice. It did seem like the perfect option then but eventually it dawned upon me that we were only meant for each other temporarily. For starters, I wanted a house where I could relax in peace and gather all my thoughts (which I agree, aren’t much). However, this house proved to be the exact opposite. Initial months were fine and we were going along really well. That’s the lovey dovey stage of all the relationships (if you know what I mean). I almost fell in love with it and just when I thought my decision was perfect, reality stuck me hard. It was almost like dating someone you don’t know. At first I thought it would be fine in some time and just like any other relationship I wanted to give it another chance too. But again, just like some relations don’t deserve another chance, so did this one. Harsh? Welcome to the real world. Now you may wonder why things didn’t work out between us and what made me search for a new one. Right? It wasn’t exactly his fault but it was time to move on. All I could say (finally) was: It’s not me, it’s you. 😉
To begin with there was 24*7 construction going on in the opposite side. Trust me when I say, the noise was unbearable and all that digging somehow affected my Wi-Fi too. Not to forget the dusty environment. You can imagine, right? I hate dust and noise and can’t live without network either. That was reason enough to switch to Plan B which was hunting of a new house but again executing it was even harder. Clearly I had got some idea and this time I looked for a house which had:
- Peaceful society
- Proper Ventilation
- Balcony (A Very important factor because while searching houses I came upon some which didn’t have one. 😮 I was like how can a house not have balcony? )
- Friendly neighbors (I have had some weird experience with them.)
Now come on! I am not being choosy. These are the basics. What do you look for while renting / buying a house? You must be having your own check list. Right?
Back to hunting house, I signed up in a site which gave 9 free contact details of the owners and after using up those I would have to subscribe to their plans to get the details. Now, obviously 9 is never enough and I used up all my freebies. Then I made another account, this time with my dad’s ID. Don’t judge me. I am sure you would have done the same. Right? (Please say yes)
Now, if you know me well enough, I always believe in signs. You can read more about it my post: To Believe Or Not To Believe In Signs ✡️ Just when I thought I wouldn’t be finding the right house and would have to create another account for free contacts, I found the 9th house fulfilling all my criteria. Relief!!! Also, I later found out that the site stopped giving 9 free contacts for new users. Oops! Did I have something to do with it? 😉 I hope not.
So yes, I finally moved in to the new house last week which kept me super busy. To top it up something weird happened to my blog as well. It wasn’t opening properly in my laptop. I panicked big time. I am super obsessed with my blog and would be so lost without this one. Thankfully the issue got resolved and here I am blogging again. Pheww!!!
All’s well that ends well. Right?
PS: Tell me if you ever faced any issue with your blog where it just won’t open properly. Maybe give a distorted view? Apart from that, the new house is treating me well (as of now). There’s no dust and no noise. So glad. Do let me know what you look for in a house while moving in. That’s another hectic process. I hate packing and unpacking but again, who loves? Do you?

Yeah there are lots if issues happening with everyone’s blogs. I hate moving too, mostly because i hate to move, I try and adjust with the one im living always.
I hate moving because then I have to organise my wardrobe again 😂
Lol
Packing up is awful, though think unpacking and thinking about where to put your stuff can be fun. Just remember, if it’s still in the box after a year, you probably don’t need it.
So true! But I have this very bad tendency to not give up on old clothes🤐 Though I do donate few but some I keep thinking I might wear it someday but that someday never comes.😣
I lost of all of followers on my blog last week! I don’t know what happened but it resolved itself, gave me a scare though! … Best of luck in your new home… ❤🏠
Thank God! Would hate to loose followers as well. Must have been an issue last week. Thank you Suki for your best wishes 🙂
Moving can be a good thing to start all over
Thank you for the positive vibes 😍
Aww.. Yes.. All’s well that ends well!❤️❤️
Good luck with your new relationship! Hope this one works! 😉
Thank you Richa. 💕 I hope so too. Fingers crosse 🤞🏻
Good luck with everything 🙂
Thank you🙂
That never happened to me (the WP issues), but I can imagine how that must have made you feel.
Glad you found a better fit. I’ve gotta move in a few months, too. Like for you – this place was great for the first few months. And then I got terrible neighbors…
Yes, the WP issue was terrible. Thank God! It got resolved.
Neighbors are such an important factor. Hope you find the perfect house this time and have a happy Shifting 🙂
Your writing is beautiful- I love the smiles I get as I go through your idiosyncrasies (pun intended 😊) – Banglore house must have one more criteria – commute 😱- I didn’t see it – problem with blog fortunately not – do post some pics of your home –
Haha! Glad I could make you laugh 😂
Yes, commute is definitely important. I kept the parameter as 5km -8km max from home to office coz I hate travelling 😣 I will sure post the post the pictures.🙂
Yeah I thought as much. I will look forward to your updated post. Enjoy your new house 😊
Haha..at starting I felt it was different …but then…. It was good still!!😊😊😊😊
It’s hard to find a house according to our requirement. There’s always something you have to compromise about it.
You’re right. It’s such a tedious task but also a great feeling once settled peacefully. 😀
