Artistic Thursday : Midnight Memories🕛

Ever been nostalgic at night watching the shining moon as if it is trying to tell you something and trying to make you confess something? My this painting is all about the moon today. I have always been intrigued by the moon. I get immense power, relief and strength from the Moon. (I hate the sun BTW) I am not at all a sunny person. I have always preferred the moon. Casting its magical spell and removing the darkness around it has got loads to offer.

It spreads positive vibes where you know there will be light if there is darkness. Life of course may not be exactly how we want. Like the full moon wanes itself, the light or happiness from your life may shade it’s weight as well. But it is bound to be back again with all its glory. Our life is going to be happy again. We just need to wait and not lose hope. With such thoughts…

Presenting before you my : Midnight Memories

I had made this when I was in college as a gift for my mom on her birthday. She loves art and I had it framed with lights around so that when you switch it on, it will actually make you feel like the moon is glowing and shimmering in the water. The picture is not doing the justice here but I couldn’t click a better pic with glowing lights.

To make midnight memories you will need :

Often when I see a full moon I see my mind wandering to my old thoughts and feelings. Something which maybe only the Moon knows. (Well also my dog. I used to share everything with her). I talk to the moon. It might sound insane but I love the feeling.

Have you ever talked to the moon? Do you feel it captivating too? I just love the aura it has. If you haven’t had a direct chat with the moon, go for it today I bet you will feel relieved. (You don’t need any prior appointment for it too). 🙂 Let me know what you think of my Midnight Memories. Memories that do not fade in the darkness. Memories that is stored deep inside your heart.

  2. The painting is beautiful, I can feel thd tranquility and peace. I love both the moon and the sun but for various reasons. I love the sun because of its warmth, I guess it’s because I live in the far north. Norway has a pretty long winter. I love the moon for similar reasons as you do. Watching it changing its form slowly in the dark sky is magic and comforting. A bit melancholic, but beautiful.

    1. Thank you so much expressing your beautiful thoughts. You’re right, you must love the sun because it is so cold in Norway. Right now it’s really hot in here. So for me it has always been the moon that captured me in it’s beauty 🙂

        1. Well, as I live in a city, I can’t see the moon very often. Just when it rises higher than the buildings, so… I think I just can talk to it (or her, wow, this sounds weird) in a specific month of summer.
